Alfie the Dog needs a home
Hello and thanks for stopping by to read my story. My name is Alfie. I am a true diamond in the "ruff". Found cold, lonely, and hungry I'm so grateful to be living the rescue life! I likely would not have survived, because in addition to being cold, lonely, and hungry, I was also naked. Yes, naked!! My vet believes lack of care and nutrition caused my beautiful black fur to fall out. But no worries, my skin is getting much better and my fur is growing back, slowly but surely. I am a lover and a gentleman (no brag just fact- my foster mom tells me all the time so it must be true). I'm really wishing for home where I can continue to thrive and heal. I get along peacefully with dogs and could care less about cats. I'm totally fond of all people, especially children, and would like nothing more than to be a family member. My foster mom raves about my good-nature saying I'm eager to please, and obedient. I'm eight years old, house trained, and even though I'm crate trained too, you'll find I'm completely trustworthy in the house. I enjoy napping in the warm sunshine and my favorite part of the day is being tucked in my bed at night with a warm blanket and a treat. Ah that feels sooo good! Although I have healed quite a bit, I need weekly baths to sooth and condition my dry skin, along with gentle massages with lotion and coconut oil. Best of all, that gets me some special quality time and I love it!
